Falconbridge Animal Hospital, located in Durham, NC, has been providing quality veterinary medical and surgical care to our patients since 1996. Our veterinarians, technicians, and administrative staff practice the highest quality veterinary care in a friendly environment.

Our mission at Falconbridge Animal Hospital is to be your first choice for superior veterinary care. Our knowledgeable team will partner with you, the client, to hear and address your concerns and provide personalized care for your pet. Caring for your pets is not just our job, it's our passion.

In order to allow for plenty of time for all patient care and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. While we do make every effort to see each client at their appointed time, there are occasionally emergency circumstances that can delay your appointment. We appreciate your understanding during these occasional scheduling delays. Appointments help to alleviate some wait time and help make for a more efficient visit. However, we do accept walk-in clients. Walk-in clients will be seen based on medical emergency first, then will be fit in around scheduled appointments as time permits.

Many of our clients have work schedules that restrict them from bringing their pet in during the day for an appointment. In order to provide services to those pets and pet owners we offer a "drop off" service on weekdays at no additional charge. We open at 7:30 a.m. so that our clients can bring their pet in before work and then pick them up again after their appointment by 5:30 p.m. Should a consultation with the veterinarian be needed or requested, one will be arranged.

Estimates

We are happy to provide you with a written estimate for any service recommended by our veterinary staff. Please understand that it is sometimes difficult to anticipate all of an individual patient's treatment needs. If the actual treatment costs are greater than those estimated, we will make every effort to notify you of the additional costs and wait for authorization before proceeding with the treatment.

Fees

It is our policy that payment for services is made at the time they are performed.  We make every effort to ensure that our fees are fair and reasonable.  We accept cash, check, credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover), and CareCredit.  We also fully support pet insurance programs and will gladly fill out the necessary forms with you.  For more information on pet insurance and CareCredit programs, please see our Related Links page.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your safety and the safety of others, we require that all dogs be on a leash and properly controlled. All cats must be in an appropriate carrier or on a leash.

Monday through Friday  7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
